Sunday Social....

I love holidays, so it is no secret that I am also a fan of Valentine's Day. I think it is just so special to have a day of the year to shower those you love with sweet surprises, big or small. I believe this should be an everyday event, but why not have a day to go above and beyond!

1. What is the best Valentine's Day you've ever had?

I honestly think this Valentine's was the best and most special because I got to spend all day with sweet Audrey. I loved having the whole day planned for us to do special things. I know it will only get sweeter from here, since she didn't even know the day was so special. :)

2. What is the worst Valentine's Day you've ever had?

Ohhh, I definitely have one of those. One year the guy I was with at the time hardly even acknowledged it was Valentine's Day. Sure he wasn't a fan of the holiday, but come on now. Once he figured out I was upset about it, he ran out and got flowers and a card, but that almost made it worse. I didn't want them because he knew I was upset about it, I wanted them because he wanted to shower me with love on this day. You know what I mean!?!

3. What did you do for Valentine's this year?

I definitely have already blogged about it, but we had a whole day of fun as I mentioned before. Ray and I didn't exchange big gifts this year but we had a nice dinner at home, and exchanged cards and little gifts. He got me a Starbucks gift card because he knows that is my weakness!

4. What is your best Valentine's idea if you're single?

When I was single, I loved going out to dinner with a group of girlfriends and maybe some shopping thrown in there to of course.

5. What is your favorite Valentine's candy?

I love chocolate, specifically Ghiradelli chocolates. A guy my sister was talking to at one time came to visit my parents house with a whole huge bag of mixed Ghiradelli chocolates and he won me over right then and there, unfortunately it didn't work out!

6. Favorite Valentine's memory from your childhood?

I loved Valentine's Day as a child, I loved it all from the goodies at home to the special day at school. I think my favorite Valentine's memory though was in 7th grade when my Dad sent me one of those big balloon things with the teddy bear inside. Remember them? It was always fun to have a special delivery at school. It looked kinda like this, but my teddy bear was smaller and white. :)
