More from Blissdom...

I have seen so many people talk about how they don't even know where to start when they begin their Blissdom recaps and that is exactly how I have felt all week. When I tell non-bloggers about all the wonderful girls I met and how I felt like I had known many of them forever, I feel they look at me like I am crazy. Then when you explain that many of these girls came to Nashville for the weekend and met up and shared hotel rooms with girls they had only met in blog world, they really think it's insane. Funny how you have to experience the blog world to realize this is where many make their best friends these days! I never would have thought blogging would allowed me to get to know so many great girls on such a personal level! I didn't take nearly enough pictures, actually I was so terrible that most of these pictures are Tiff's.

The sponsors we were able to talk to were also great, not to mention all the "swag." I actually pulled out a lot of my swag when I got home just so Ray could see how much stuff I accumulated over the weekend and this is what happened: 

I mean look at all this stuff!! I was so excited to get a copy of The Lorax and the new children's book by one of the guys from Zach Brown. These did not get taken to school, they are being put up for BG. I did get enough suckers though from Retail Me Not for all of my kindergarteners and thanks to Glade, my classroom now has a new air freshener and spray! I think my favorite thing we received in our swag was the soap dispenser from Simple Human. I have been using these forever and just recently ours broke, so now we have a brand new one!

The nice people at Centrum gave me some prenatals and then wrote down my address to send me more!!

and this sweet Lorax gave me a Fandango gift card and Tiff an IHOP one!!

....and Friday night before the Joe Jonas and Rascal Flatts concert we were able to attend a Lorax party to celebrate the release of the movie and Dr. Seuss' birthday of course!!

So as you can tell just from my pictures of sweet new friends and goodies, Blissdom is really quite the experience! I am so glad I didn't miss out on this opportunity!

P.S. Does anyone felt a little like the world did when the year 2000 hit and everyone was freaking out about Y2K or is it just me? That is how I am feeling about GFC leaving tomorrow, just because I am scared that some of my blogs are going to disappear and I won't know it or be able to find them again sooo tonight I am trying to switch over to BlogLovin I suppose and start following there. What is everybody else doing?
